Last month I went to Virginia to train with Shakta Khalsa at Radiant Child Yoga. I enjoyed the trip and am grateful for the opportunity.

I feel we went deep into how to work with kids doing yoga and how we can reach them and also make it fun for them doing yoga. My favorite part was breaking it down to the different age groups of kids that yoga would benefit them. The training for me was a eye opener to see what I can improve on to make yoga more exciting for the kids.

I realize a lot of times yoga can be a way to reach kids with depression and stress and just a step back of breathing and stretching can help them come back to their center where they can talk and proceed with what they need to with a clear mindset.

My next step is to create a new yoga way for kids.
