I Grow Chicago welcomed 40 Chicago students from Perspectives Charter School’s Rodney D. Joslin Campus for a volunteer day. The students, landing from 11 to 18 years old, put together care packages with toiletries and other essentials to be distributed to our community members. These efforts were part of the national WE Volunteer Now campaign, working to help young people get involved in volunteer efforts in their communities. Thanks to the Chicago Citizen for sharing the story! When our youth get involved in community, our future becomes brighter.
