Bobbie Logan

Strive to Thrive Manager

With a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University and a Masters in Human Service Administration from Spertus Jewish College, Bobbie joins us with extensive experience in social work and mental health advocacy. She started with us in 2019 through a program focused on honest conversation and community connection. She is currently a doctoral student with Governor State University in Counseling, Education, and Supervision. After her time at the Chicago Torture Justice Center as the Assistant Clinical Director, she joins us in a part-time position as the Strive to Thrive manager. Her role with IGC allows our organization to foster stronger community relationships, offer more necessary mental health support and compassionate mentorship as a certified life coach to our neighbors.

“In order to look at the whole person, you have to deal with the social economic issues and not only the wellness piece. Being a part of I Grow Chicago and being a part of the forefront, here on the ground, gives me the opportunity to help the community in this time of a healthy paradigm shift of how we face mental health.”
